Ottawa/Carp Airport is located 2.2 kilometres south of Carp, Ontario, Canada. Carp is the only airport in the Ottawa area where private hangar space is readily available, so it is a popular home base for local general aviation pilots.
The airport had been owned by the city of Ottawa until 2005 but is being transferred to West Capital Developments. Sheldon Creek Developments bought out West Capital Developments and is now managing this project to develop the land around the airport to Residential Estates and a 188-acre Business Park.
